I had the most delightful surprise on my porch today.


These cookies will be going in the book boxes. Aren't they awesome?


However...ya know, they COULD just look pretty.  Are they yummy? Dear Reader. It was a trial, but I sacrificed myself to make sure.



I mean, you know, maybe that first bite was a fluke. I should try two. Or three.


I don't want anybody to feel like I'm giving less than my best here.


What's the saying? In for a penny, in for a pound?


It would be a shame to waste it.


I've tasted enough to have a good solid opinion of this cookie.

These delicious beautiful bites of yumminess are the work of Three Melons Bakeshop and I can't wait to share a batch with those who back the boxes!

I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off half the day and I still haven't gotten much done.

Meanwhile, this is one of the dogs.



This is how she likes to hang out. She particularly likes to do it in the middle of the hallway where I can trip over her. She also likes to crowd into your lap, because she's convinced she weighs about as much as our 8 lb terrier mix.

But she's adorable. That's gotta be the life. Lying around and taking it easy, until it's time to go grab some love.

Meanwhile, I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

It's gotta be nice to be a dog.

I want to share a cool item I'll be adding to the book boxes!

COOKIES. Because, really, who doesn't love cookies? (Yeah, I'm sure cookie-haters exist but I don't understand them).

A cool small biz owner I discovered makes her own cookies that can be designed almost any way imaginable...and we're going to put the cover of the book on them!

Three Melons Bake Shop will be doing a sample order hopefully next week and I plan to get some pictures from her, so I'm excited about that. These cookies will be added to the following tiers and some are still available. 

Don't forget you can use the Backerkit's pay over time feature for items over $125.

We're still trying to get to $6000 so I can offer the first of the extended bonus scenes I plan to add as a stretch goal. Hopefully, we'll get there soon!
